Sirius Pro Former Sirius Charge 100
Did
you know that most battery manufacturers of NiCd and NiMH cells
skip the last and very important manufacturing step? This
step is called the “FORMING CHARGE” and completes the
chemical processes within the battery. It takes 24 hours and
cannot be rushed. That makes it expensive and ties up a lot
of manufacturing capacity so it is usually skipped and left up to
the consumer.
FORMING also assures that each cell in a pack starts off completely full so it can add the most to the battery cell “team effort”. Without FORMING, a new NiCd or NiMH battery may only achieve 40% to 50% of it’s rated capacity initially, and may never reach it’s full potential.
Why fly like that? Before, you were just out of luck! Now......
The new Sirius Pro Former by Peak Electronics is especially designed to properly FORM new NiCd and NiMH cells from 10 mAh to 5,500 mAh. Just attach a 12 volt supply, select your battery capacity and plug in your 1 to 8 cell battery pack. After 24 hours, your new pack will be completely formed and ready for 3 to 5 fast charge cycles. It will then be capable of achieving all the performance the manufacturer designed in, but didn’t take the time to build in.

Sirius Charge 200
The
First Digital Peak Charger Designed Specifically for Small Receiver
Batteries
Now, you can safely and reliably fast charge small receiver batteries. The Sirius Charge 200 provides a precision regulated 200mA of charge current. This means you can fully charge a 200mAh receiver pack (from completely empty) in about an hour, or a 100mAh pack in about 30 minutes. Remember: partially charged batteries will take less time, and you can charge as often as you like without fear of damage or "memory" buildup.
Technical stuff: Most NiCd batteries will peak charge to about 1.6 volts per cell. For a 4-cell pack, this translates to about 6.4 volts as it nears the end of the charge cycle. SIRIUS CHARGE 200 has been specially designed to require only 1.1 volts of "overhead" (source voltage minus destination voltage equals "overhead"). Therefore, You can charge a 4-cell receiver battery from a 6-cell "race car" battery! Or, may use: A 12 volt gel cell (any size), your automobile, a small 12 volt DC wall adapter, etc.

Ah yes, but is Sirius Charge really safe?
Yes, it is. Using a conventional slow (overnight) charger will usually give you a battery lifespan of 300 to 500 charge cycles. Conventional "delta-V" fast chargers can shorten that to about half, because of overcharge, temperature rise, and pressure buildup.
The advanced techniques used by Sirius Charge Quad will actually extend battery life. If you use only Sirius Charge, you can extend your battery life to over 2000 cycles! That's over 20 years of flying for the average flyer!

Sirius Charge Lithium
If
you fly Lithium batteries... Now you can charge them quickly,
safely, and reliably.
Here is the first fast charger designed especially to SAFELY fast charge those Lithium batteries in your bird.
How fast? Sirius Charge Lithium can take a Lithium pack from nearly dead to 70% full in the first hour, or completely full in about 2.5 hours. Charge when you get home from flying. Unlike Nickel Cadmium and Nickel Metal Hydride which self discharge on the shelf, Lithium batteries do not. When you are ready to fly again, so are your batteries. It's completely safe, because the digital computers will deliver only enough time programmed energy to charge your batteries exactly full; no more, no less. Every time you fly, your batteries will be ready to deliver Peak Performance. And, you just can't beat Peaked batteries for top performance and best reliability.
You say you want a safe charger? Sirius Charge Lithium was originally designed specifically to charge Lithium batteries safely and quickly. It's simple...and safe. Automatically detects the number of cells and condition of your battery and turns off if there is a problem. You can't hook anything backwards with our goof-proof circuits. We built the Lithium with dual fault-tolerant computers, double regulation, and precision power electronics. Then we put it in a cast aluminum case to protect it from the elements. Now it can withstand 140 degree temperatures, shrug off being tripped over or stepped on, ignore generator voltage surges, and still work correctly, every time.

Spectra 4 will make loaded voltmeter measurements while applying a selectable load of 100 to 1000 milliamperes.
Spectra 4 can process functions on up to 4 batteries simultaneously with individually selectable charge and discharge currents of up to 1 amp, (1000 milliamperes), for each battery.
The Spectra 4 was designed with the R/C airplane modeler in mind for the purpose of m aintaining battery packs for the control equipment of the aircraft. However, it is powerful enough to charge batteries for the smaller electric airplane motor power.
Spectra 4 will fast charge NiCad and NiMh batteries, terminating the charge by peak detection, or charge at a specified rate continuously, or for a specified period of time using the safety timer. Lithium and lead-acid batteries require a float charging method which is applied automatically, and no options are selectable except cell count, charge rate, and the safety timer as a safety precaution.

Sirius Super Test
Stop
guessing about the capacity of your NiCd or NiMh batteries! Use
SuperTest to find weak cells, shorted cells, and worn out batteries
before they fail and cause a crash. Easy to use? You bet! Just plug
it in and walk away. How it works: SuperTest discharges your
battery to between 1 and 1.1 volts per cell, and then shuts off, to
avoid dangerous over-discharge. When you are ready to read the
results, flip the mAh switch to wake up the computer. The LED
display will show battery capacity directly in milliAmp-hours.
Compare this number with your battery label to determine battery
quality, or with previous readings to detect battery trends.
SuperTest is supplied with connectors to fit most popular R/C
transmitter and receiver batteries, and is housed in a rugged metal
case with industrial grade sealed switches. Since it is powered
entirely by the battery being tested, you can expect a lifetime of
maintenance free use. A laboratory quality instrument!

Stop
guessing about the capacity of your NiCd, NiMh, Lithium or Lead
Acid batteries! Use SuperTest Pro to find weak cells, shorted
cells, and worn out batteries before they fail and cause a crash.
Easy to use? You bet! Just set it, plug it in and walk away.
How it works: SuperTest Pro discharges your battery to a safe level from 1.00 to 14.0 volts set by the user. We recommend 1.0 volts per NiCd or NiMh cell or 2.8 volts per Lithium cell. You can easily and simply change that to 3.0 or 3.3 volts per Lithium cell if you like, 10 volts per lead acid/gel cell. SuperTest Pro discharges your battery to the set level, then shuts off, to avoid dangerous over-discharge. The status and results in discharge voltage and battery capacity milliamp-hours are shown on the high quality LCD display. We recommend that you compare this number with your battery label to determine battery quality, or with previous readings to detect battery trends. Find trouble before it finds you!
